What is Libraula?
Libraula is a book membership for Kampala. You choose books from our shelves — novels, technical and non-fiction, manga, comics and graphic novels — and we deliver them to your door. Read as many as you like in a month, a few at a time, for one monthly price. Delivery and pickup are free and there are no late fees.
How much does it cost?
Basic is UGX 50,000 a month for 2 books at a time. Standard is UGX 75,000 for 3 at a time with priority reservation. Premium is UGX 100,000 for 3 at a time, priority reservation, and you can ask us to stock titles we don’t carry yet. No extra costs, no contracts.
How does the Queue work?
Add every book you want to read to your Queue and drag it into order. We send from the top. When you return a book, the next one in your Queue ships. Tip: keep a dozen or more queued so there’s always something on the way.
Are there due dates or late fees?
No. Keep a book as long as you like. When you’re done, tap “Return” and we’ll collect it.
Where do you deliver?
Libraula is built for readers in Kampala. Add your delivery address after you subscribe, with directions for the rider, and we bring your books to your door. Free delivery and pickup cover Kampala and nearby — areas on our Kampala delivery list include Kololo, Nakasero, Ntinda, Bukoto, Kisaasi, Muyenga, Kansanga, Makindye, Nsambya, Kira, Najjera, Nansana, Rubaga and Makerere.
How do I pay?
Monthly with MTN MoMo or Airtel Money. You approve the payment on your phone; payments are processed securely by Flutterwave.
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime. There’s no contract and no cancellation fee — just don’t renew. Your Queue stays saved if you come back.
How do swaps work?
When you finish a book, tap “Return” in the app and we collect it from your door. The next book in your Queue ships — no need to ask. Swaps are unlimited on every plan; your plan only sets how many books you have at a time.
How many books can I have at a time?

What kinds of books can I rent?

Can I ask for a book you don’t stock?
Yes, on Premium: you can ask us to stock titles we don’t carry yet. Every member can browse the catalogue and queue anything on the shelves.
Do I need to show ID?
Before our first delivery we confirm who we’re handing books to. It takes about two minutes, and you only do it once. No photo needed. Our rider will ask to see your National ID at your first delivery and check it matches. You need to be 16 or older.
Is delivery really free?
Yes. Delivery and pickup across Kampala are included in every plan, both ways.
